Early Bird Draw 
(June 6, 2012 to September 2, 2012)

Public school students entering Grade 9, Senior 1 (Manitoba) and Secondary III (Quebec) in the fall of 2012 who register before August 26 are eligible to win one of 10 Apple 2GB fourth generation iPod Shuffles. All early bird registrants will be entered in draw that takes place on August 26 with winners being announced on September 3. Early bird registration is limited to one per student.

The Grand Prize

The Grand Prize winner will receive a trip to Ottawa with a parent/guardian to meet the Honourable Andrew Sheer on Take Our Kids to Work™ day, November 7, 2012. The prize package includes a 2 night stay at the beautiful Lord Elgin Hotel as well as tours of national attractions and monuments such as, but not necessarily all of: Parliament Hill, The National Gallery of Canada, The Royal Canadian Mint or the Canadian Museum of Civilization.

Weekly, the ten best Dream Job photos will be selected from all eligible entries received, and posted on the contest website for public voting. The Dream Job photo entries with the top three results, based on number of votes for that week will win the corresponding weekly prize. The top finisher of each week will be eligible to advance to the Finalist Gallery. Entries chosen for public voting will be selected based on the following criteria: the photograph should be creative and visually appealing and the accompanying 25 word submission should convey a passion for the Dream Job to the reader.
